Positions - Lead Gaffer, Lighting director

since 2012 I have been engaged on behalf of LDG, New York to lead teams for the nbc olympic broadcasts for both news and sports.

I have served as lead gaffer across the entire lighting operation, speccing control and power systems for several studios across continents.

Since Tokyo, I have taken the role of Lighting Director for the Today Show broadcast at the Olympic Games

2018 - PRESENT

POSITIONS - LEAD GAFFER, LIGHTING DIRECTOR

SINCE 2018 I HAVE BEEN ENGAGED ON BEHALF OF LDG, NEW YORK TO LEAD TEAMS FOR THE NBC/Telemundo Sports broadcasts at the FIFA World Cup.

In Moscow I served as LEAD GAFFER ACROSS THE studio LIGHTING OPERATION, SPECCING CONTROL AND POWER SYSTEMS FOR the STUDIO and Remote components.

In Qatar I led a team as the Lighting Director of remote positions, lighting all of the positions outside of the studio, around the country and in stadiums with main talent.

2022

Position - Rigging programmer/systems lead

MA2/3 Pre-programmer for the rigging team on Marvels Secret Invasion, in charge of control system design and installation across soundstages and several locations across the country.

Responsible for ensuring all lights and control systems including lighting states in the desk were correct and ready for the main shoot

2018 - PRESENT

POSITIONS - LIGHTING DIRECTOR

When outside of the USA I serve as the lighting director on behalf of LDG, New York.

in charge of the lighting of main talent and scenic elements and supervising the lighting team for the broadcast

2020 - Present

working with LDG, New York, I was the lead gaffer for constructing and installing the new peloton studios in London. I currently serve in this role for their ongoing technical support, as well as being associate Lighting Director for additions and changes

2017 - Present

WORKING WITH LDG, NEW YORK I WAS THE GAFFER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE BLOOMBERG FINANCIAL CHANNEL.

SINCE WE HAVE RETURNED REGULARLY TO MAINTAIN THEIR SYSTEMS, UPDATE THEIR SHOWS AND RE-LIGHT THEIR NEW SHOWS.

SINCE THE PANDEMIC I HAVE STEPPED INTO AN ASSOCIATE LIGHTING DIRECTOR ROLE FOR THE STUDIO, WORKING REMOTELY WITH TEAMS IN NEW YORK.

WORKING WITH LDG NEW YORK WE AIDED MANOTO, THE LARGEST BROADCASTER TO IRAN TO RE-VAMP ALL OF THEIR STUDIOS.

THIS WAS A MAJOR MULTI-MILLION POUND RE-DESIGN, INCORPORATING NEW CONTROL SYSTEMS, DESIGN AND OPERATING PROCEDURES ACROSS THREE BRAND NEW STUDIOS AND SEVERAL NEW PRODUCTIONS.

IN HOUSE REPRESENTATIVE IN CHARGE OF DESIGN, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF NETWORKING AND CONTROL FOR TWO MAIN TV STAGES.
